Position Responsibilities
BARBRI is looking for a Marketing Assistant to support the planning, promotion and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences, specifically through webinars and in-person events. You’ll work closely with marketing colleagues and internal stakeholders to keep campaigns and events organized and successful.
General marketing administration
Keep marketing documents, calendars and asset libraries organized and up to date, support with data entry, report preparation and communication.
Support incoming ad-hoc marketing requests to help the marketing team run smoothly.
Help track and manage merchandise inventory, including organizing, distributing and ensuring accurate stock counts.
Provide administrative support and event diary management to the marketing and business development teams.
Campaign project support (B2B + B2C)
Provide day-to-day project support for multi-channel campaigns with a specific focus on events, while keeping marketing plans and tactics on track.
Help produce and repurpose content into reusable marketing assets (e.g., photos, videos, polls, highlights, quotes, summaries, follow-up content, Q&As, reels/stories).
Events & webinars (planning and delivery)
Support the end-to-end delivery of online and in-person events (timelines, logistics, speaker coordination, attendee communications, venue/catering booking and on-the-day support).
Assist with the technical organization and assistance of online webinar events.
Support event campaign set-up and scheduling across relevant channels (e.g., email, organic social, website), ensuring messages are consistent and accurate.
Maintain event checklists and ensure all steps are completed by the deadline.
Prepare and quality-check campaign assets (slide decks, copy, links, tracking, basic formatting) in accordance with branding guidelines.
Coordinate post-event follow-up activity, including emails and next steps.
Maintain accurate records of event performance and attendee feedback.
Data capture, reporting and marketing operations
Ensure accurate data capture for events and marketing campaigns (registrations, attendance, engagement, consent where applicable).
Maintain and improve consistency of post-event and campaign reporting (dashboards/spreadsheets, performance summaries, learnings).
Support list management and basic segmentation tasks, following internal data handling processes.
Design and asset coordination
Brief or coordinate simple collateral needs (event slides, banners, social posts, flyers) and manage versions and approvals.
Make minor copy edits and basic design changes where appropriate (within agreed templates and guidelines).
Essential Requirements
Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (e.g., marketing or law)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional manner
Genuine interest in marketing and willingness to learn multi-channel campaign delivery
Highly organized, strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and comfortable working to deadlines
Creative, with a problem-solving mindset
A fast learner who is resourceful, proactive and able to confidently take initiative
Basic design capability (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint) and understanding of brand consistency
Some familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g. Canva, Eventbrite, Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite)
Comfortable with using and appearing on social media platforms
Willingness to travel to events across the UK (travel expenses covered)
Desirable Requirements
Hands-on experience delivering marketing campaigns and/or events
A willingness and commitment to learn new skills
Experience with networking events, conferences or careers fairs
Experience in the education, legal or training sector
Experience with law students and lawyers in the United Kingdom
Additional Details
Location: London (permanent contract)
Hybrid working: Mandatory from the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Travel Requirements: Some business travel may be required
Apprenticeship Option (Level 3 Marketing Executive)
There is an option for this role to be offered as a Level 3 Marketing Executive apprenticeship (multi-channel marketer pathway).
Typical duration: approximately 18–22 months (e.g., around 15 months learning + End-Point Assessment period).
You’ll receive structured learning time and on-the-job development to build practical marketing skills.
