Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in the Eagan, MN office. This is a hybrid role that will require you to be on-site 2-3 days a week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the corporate IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of end-user devices, networking equipment, servers, storage, and other critical systems. This role requires expertise in at least three areas of responsibility listed below.
Responsibilities
- End User Devices: Maintain and troubleshoot corporate end-user devices including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Networking Equipment: Manage and optimize Meraki networking equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Servers: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers.
- Storage: Administer and manage corporate storage solutions, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.
- M365 Environment: Support and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including email, collaboration tools, and cloud services.
- User Access: Manage user access controls and permissions, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Group Access: Administer group access and permissions across various systems and applications.
- SharePoint: Maintain and support SharePoint environments, including site creation, permissions, and customizations.
- Licenses: Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
- Telephone Systems: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of corporate telephone systems including MS Teams and five9.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or a similar role.
- Expert knowledge in at least three of the Areas of Responsibility.
- Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Understanding of scripting languages such as PowerShell and JavaScript.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.

- Ensure the smooth operation and reliability of the corporate IT infrastructure.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to systems and software.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Implement security measures to protect company data and systems.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to support business needs.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps accurately.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
