Role: University Partnership Account Manager
Location: Strand, London (Hybrid working typically two days in the office with an expectation of regular travel across the UK.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + 25% OTE

As the University Partnerships Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing B2C development activity supporting BARBRI Global’s UK university outreach and partnership efforts. This will include supporting the University Partnerships team to reach its annual revenue targets by supporting UK university Faculties, Careers Teams, and Brand Ambassadors to market and sell BARBRI’s SQE and professional development courses to current students and alumni. The University Partnerships Account Manager will be a key member of the University Partnerships team and will establish a very close working relationship with the Sales team, the Business Development team generally, and the Marketing Team. In particular, the University Partnerships Account Manager will work closely with the University Partnerships Director to create strong working relationships with university partners to support revenue growth and to identify new revenue streams across all of BARBRI Global’s courses.
The role will involve a significant amount of travel within the UK and the Republic of Ireland, delivering in-person presentations and workshops on the SQE and employability themes at various campuses, and attending a range of university law fairs. You will also be required to support other in-person and online outreach events aimed at graduates from across the country. You will have a background in client relationship management and experience of having performed sales and client services ideally within the Higher Education sector.

Position Responsibilities
- To act as an account manager for key accounts, including working with university Faculties, Careers and Employability Services, student law societies and clubs to help drive brand awareness, build student pipeline and work to KPIs.
- Deliver key information on the SQE, wider BARBRI product offering and career pathways to students, law faculties, and university Employability Teams, while also developing and maintaining a resource site for FAQs.
- Provide student information talks and identify and attend law fairs to support pipeline build.
- Maintain an active Social Media profile on appropriate channels to reinforce key messaging and campaigns.
- Support B2C sales conversion and lead generation of prospective individual students directed to BARBRI through key partner relationships, nurturing interest through one-to-one discussions and messages, leading to measurable evidence of success in driving revenue.
- Liaising with partners to ensure uniformity of messaging between partners and BARBRI.
- Managing the successful deployment of Progression Agreements enabling students from partner universities to access BARBRI SQE discounts and to receive employability information through BARBRI Careers talks and events.
- Manage and maintain a successful BARBRI brand ambassador campaign on UK and Ireland university campuses.
- Work as part of a cross-functional team on B2B account management, including involvement with BARBRI Global sales, marketing and careers & employability teams.
- Support the work of the University Partnerships Director as required, to assist with the development of new university B2B relationships.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of individual and organizational account management in BARBRI’s CRM (Salesforce).
- Help facilitate university and partner marketing efforts in target markets.

Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or other relevant education level, preferably in Law.
- Min. 1 year of experience in a sales/account management role, preferably in the legal education market.
- Understanding of the needs of an undergraduate, postgraduate and professional legal audience.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including undergraduate and postgraduate students, faculty members, external stakeholders and internal team members.
- Excellent client service, sales and marketing skills.
- Ability to communicate key messages to our customers, on both a B2C and B2B level and amongst a variety of different organisations
- Written communication – the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information
